When you open an Open Office password-protected file in Open Office Writer 3.1.1, a password input box appears. After the password is typed in, the newer forms of the program will only submit the password and open the file when the pointer is placed on the “OK” button and the mouse clicked.

In previous versions, the shortcut input of pressing the “Enter Key” was allowed as a substitute for clicking the OK button. For us old time users and all users with keyboards, keeping the old “press Enter Key” as a default method for input or answering “OK.” Makes the program more usable and user friendly.

I suggest that the “press Enter Key” be adopted as a standard alternate input on all Open Office input boxes.
