There are quite a few different mailing lists. The most commonly used
one is the "users" list, for general information and help with using
OpenOffice.org. To join that, send a message to
[email protected]. You should very
soon get a message to confirm the subscription request, and when you
respond, you'll get a "Welcome" message. To join this "discuss" list,
send a message to
[email protected] -- that works
the same way.
The only official websites for OpenOffice.org are www.openoffice.org and
its mirrors, andto get to a mirror you should start from the main site.
There are other sites, a few of which provide useful services, but many
of which charge for the software and support that are available free.
This is legal but not not right.
