There is a process for Requests For Enhancement (RFEs). They get added as issues to the bugtracker the same as a bug on the quality assurance website. http://qa.openoffice.org/ Of course you are welcome to discuss ideas in this forum if you wish to know if they will be acted on or not. The best way to get your idea to reality, short of writing the code yourself, is to pay a developer.
