FYI, I've changed the "gmane-test" Yahoo group options so that only members
can post.

GMane is subscribed to the list as<[email protected]>

Lars (if you're listening) ... how does Gmane deal with lists which only
allow members to post? Is it typically sufficient to put the GMane
subscription address in the envelope sender, or does it need to go in the
"From" header too? If "From" has to contain the GMane subscription
address, then where does the *real* poster's address go?

Above is a message I found int he gmane.test.yahoo newsgroup. Would someone
please explain to me why a test group is limited to only subscribers, yet you
need to be subscribed to gmane.comp.openoffice.general before you can post to
it? This makes no sense to me.
