For me this sounds like a feature request for a general draft mode, which could be helpful in different scenarios, including the scenario described below:
In draft mode the current page format would be ignored, as well as all font information. All text would use the the same font. Font and background color for that mode would be configurable. You could switch seamlessly between draft mode and layout mode. Not sure what would happen to text frames, images and drawing object. I guess they would appear near the anchor position, w/o taking layout information into account. I don't agree that there should be any file specific configuration. Makes sense? Malte. The main idea is to be able to write a document with a > ‘blueprint’ type backg round with white text but be able at the same time to save the document or export it with customizable settings. Also, this feature should be file related, meaning that each setting should be independent from file-to-file. This way, I can write a document and save it in a blue screen mode according to my own settings to be able to continue writing it later on, and another person be able to use the same word processor without the need to change the “my” settings to his/her own preferences. The preferences and settings should be independent and file related. The idea is to write documents according to the description made (independent of formatting for instance) and the output made customizable according to the preferences (type of font, size of font, layout of the document, etc.). Hope I was clear. Thank you very much for the attention. > /Mauro Claudino. > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] > For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected] > --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
