To subscribe to this list, send a message to
[email protected]. Subject and content are ignored, only
the address matters. You should very soon get a confirmation message; reply to that to complete the
subscription. You should then get a "Welcome" message with more information about using the list.
For general questions about how to use OpenOffice.org, the users list is preferred:
[email protected]. If you have trouble with this, I'll help
off-list ([email protected]).
You can distribute a CD containing OOo freely without any other conditions; it's also acceptable to
charge a small fee, like the cost of the CD.
I'm not quite sure what you mean by "discussion page." But there are forums on the
www.openoffice.org website that correspond to these mailing lists. To join those, and be able to
write to them, you would go to the site and set up an account (free). When you are logged in, you
can participate in the forums. user.services.openoffice.org provides links to various languages'
support forums. (You can read these without logging in.)
