IME it's only your first post to each group that is moderated unless you
do
something nasty. They'll respond with an email for you to confirm your
email
address, and after that you won't go thru that process again. You'll go
through it once for each newsgroup you post to.
That is how it worked before the transition to the new system (Sympa).
Now, any post sent through gmane goes through the moderator unless the
poster is also subscribed to the mailing list. Your post went through the
moderator. The following header is in all moderated posts:
X-Sympa-To: [email protected]

I *believe* that if you want to *only* post/read via Gmane you now subscribe
to the OOo lists with the "no-mail" ("nomail" ?) option. That way your
address is subscribed so your messages aren't moderated but you don't get
e-mails.
There have been a number of discussions about this. For details, send a
message to [email protected] with subject "help" (without the quotes).
