The Open vSwitch team is pleased to announce the availability of Open vSwitch
1.0.1:

The release of Open vSwitch 1.0.0 brought a lot of attention to the project.
With that, came a lot of new compilation targets. This release mostly brings
support for cleanly building against additional Linux distributions. It also
introduces a new "patch" interface type and builds cleanly against FreeBSD*.

* A FreeBSD-compatible datapath is not included in the distribution. If anyone
is interested in developing one, please contact me off-list as I have the
beginnings of a user-space implementation available.
