One thing I've noticed is that when I use vswitchd, it uses some kind of
default flow table in unix:/usr/local/var/run/openvswitch/vbr0.mgmt. I tried
deleting the flows so that pinging from one host to another should not work,
but pinging seems to re-create the flows. Is there a way to disable this?
By default, ovs-vswitch runs in standalone fail-mode, which will setup flows
automatically when not connected to a controller. Try looking at the
"set−fail−mode" command in ovs-vsctl, which is documented in the associated man
page, to see if it does what you want.
