Is this from the HEAD of the Git "master" branch?  A quick glance makes
that look likely.  If not, could you try the newest commit there?

You are saying that it is dying due to a signal?  "Invalid argument" is
a pretty generic kernel errno value (EINVAL) and wouldn't kill off a
process by itself.

Another approach is to run ovs-openflowd under valgrind and see if there
are any interesting reports.
