Think you for your reply
the problem is solved with the latest release

but when I load openvswitch_mod.ko I have this message

insmod: error inserting 'datapath/linux-2.6/openvswitch_mod.ko': -1 Invalid
module format

and when I execute this command " dmesg | tail"
I have this message

openvswitch_mod: version magic '2.6.18-238.12.1.el5 SMP mod_unload gcc-4.3'
should be '2.6.18-164.15.1.el5 SMP mod_unload gcc-4.1'

knowing that:

uname -r
2.6.18-164.15.1.el5

and when I invoke configure like this
"./configure --with-l26=/lib/modules/`uname -r`/build" I have this error

checking for Linux 2.6 build directory... no
configure: error: source dir /lib/modules/2.6.18-164.15.1.el5/build doesn't
exist

Best Regards
Marouen
