NXM is an extension to OpenFlow using the Nicira vendor id space.  I don't know 
of any open source controllers that speak it.

Something very similar to it was added to OpenFlow 1.2 and is called OXM.  In 
the OpenFlow 1.2 definition, arbitrary masks of source and destination MAC 
addresses are allowed.
