Hmm. That seems odd, since it seems like other people have got it set up successfully. It clearly seems to be an issue with your startup scripts. If you want to debug it yourself, you may want to start looking at the ovs-ctl script, which does most of that work. Otherwise, I probably won't have a chance to look at it until early next week.
