Hello, We are a group of students who are working with OVS. Recently we tried to create a network using VMware and faced some issue with the connectivity. Our VMware workstation has 4 VM's.
VM 1 - for OVS with 4 network interfaces (one NAT and 3 VMnet) VM 2 - for Floodlight VM 3 - for Host 1 VM 4 - for Host 2 What we are trying to do is to try to make them in a single network from the OVS VM. So we created multiple network adapters from the VMware and assigned it to each VM. We are able to ping each other in the network, but the network adapter is getting turned off automatically in between and we have to manually turn it on each time. There is no problem with the NAT connection, but we are having this issue with the additional network adapters. We tried this with multiple laptops both with VMware and also with VirtualBox and face the same issue. Can anyone suggest a fix, if you have faced a similar issue. Please advise. Thanks! Regards, Arshad Adam
