That page is pretty incoherent.  I would suggest digging in deeper to
find out what particular command executed by underlying scripts is
printing this error.

If you are using the Red Hat network scripts, then adding the bridge by
hand is probably not a good idea, and vice versa.

I would suggest not using ovs-brcompatd.
