Hi Friends, I am trying to understand the VXLAN spec and stumbled on how multicasting is being used in the communication of VMs across tenants. I want to understand how this is being implemented in the current OVS- VXLAN implementation.
I came across this link http://openvswitch.org/pipermail/dev/2011-October/012051.html dated Oct'2011 in relation. The post says, multicast support was not implemented by that time.I hope there would have been definitely some progress post that. Can someone provide information or some clarification in this regard. Any kind of information is highly appreciated. Thanks, Sudhakar.
