Please do not drop the mailing list. Open vSwitch 1.1.0pre2 was released in September 2010. The most recently released version is 1.10.0, released last month. I doubt that you would be satisfied with version 1.1.0pre2, even if you can get it to work, so I doubt that the work required to make it compile would be worthwhile.
I don't know of a recent port to Android. Have you tried building it?
