The debian/rules file has the configure options that are used while building debian packages.
> > And if you could tell me, where can I find all the configure options? > You can look at either the rpm spec files or the debian/rules file to get the configure options that are used by those packages. It is not necessary that you use the same options. But your startup script needs to be in sync with the options that you use. If you do not want to worry about these things, you should just go ahead and build one of the packages and install instead of a 'make install'. It will take care of everything. Make sure you "make uninstall" the old binaries though. Otherwise you will end up with same binaries in different paths and $PATH will decide which binaries are used. > > Thanks, > -- > Andrei Andone > > SOFTVISION | 57 Republicii Street, 400489 Cluj-Napoca, Romania > Email: [email protected] | Web: www.softvision.ro > > The content of this communication is classified as SOFTVISION Confidential > and Proprietary Information. >
