I tried it, but the problem still remains. I think it's not a matter of
splitting datapath to "br-int" and "br-tun". In both your settings and my
settings, packets are handled through the gre port, anyway.

As I mentioned on the previous mail, ping between host1(172.16.40.40) and
host2(172.16.50.41) works correctly. This is the weirdest point. IP packets
can go through host to host, but not GRE packets.
