Quoting that manpage:
Approximately 256 bridges given the allowance of 5,000 file descriptors
that ovs-ctl(8) configures. (ovs-vswitchd requires 17 file descriptors per
datapath.)
I don't think the particular figures there are correct anymore--we should
revisit this manpage--but we do want to preserve 256 as a minimum limit.
