Thanks for the response, Ben.
Actually I did try disabling all OpenStack Icehouse services - nova and
neutron. But, I still see the messages and events. Restarting
/etc/init.d/openvswitch service or executing "ovs-ctl force-reload-kmod"
almost always stops the spew, but that could be for a totally different
reason. I did say, "almost always" because, sometimes force-reload-kmod
doesn't help either unless I reboot the box. And even after a reboot, I
can reproduce the problem consistently by just executing "ovs-ctl
force-reload-kmod".
Do you have any insights on what other services could be a suspect?

I installed openvswitch-1.11.0_8ce28d-1.el6ost.x86_64 on CentOS 6.5

I traced those messages to udev trying to toggle the interface up
and down rapidly. Here's a sample of the events received by UDEV:
[root@host ~]# udevadm monitor
monitor will print the received events for:
UDEV - the event which udev sends out after rule processing
KERNEL - the kernel uevent

I would appreciate any advice and/or any workarounds to alleviate
the issue. Once again, thanks for the help in advance
The problem is that you have some software creating and deleting devices
rapidly. Open vSwitch isn't doing that on its own, so you will have to
figure out what is.
