Hello,

I am currently using a Napatech capture card
(http://www.napatech.com/products/nt4e-std) to capture network traffic. The
traffic is captured by the card and then sent to virtual ethernet devices which
were created by the capture card and that are visible using a version of
libpcap that was compiled to be compatible with the Napatech. These virtual
ethernet devices are only visible to applications which use libpcap or the
Napatech API. Since OVS does not use libpcap to enumerate devices and to
process the traffic, I have been unable to process the traffic from the capture
card with Open vSwitch. Does anyone know of any ways which I could allow Open
vSwitch to see the traffic/virtual ethernet devices from the capture card?

Thank you,

Zachary Miller
