I build OVS from github trunk following the DPDK instructions.
A few questions:

  *   Can I also load the kernel module and use create non datapath_type=netdev 
and non type=dpdk ports? (I.e. Use OVS as I normally do on non DPDK interfaces?)
  *   When I did the following command "$DPDK_DIR/tools/dpdk_nic_bind.py 
--bind=igb_uio p1p1” I notice that the device “p1p1” is no longer present on 
“ip a” output. What device do I use to add-port tot he bridge using type=dpdk? 
The output of "$DPDK_DIR/tools/dpdk_nic_bind.py —status” is:
