I am unable to ping through a vxlan link in Open vSwitch (OVS) when the frame size is too big. It seems ovs doesn’t fragment big frames when sending then through the vxlan tunnel. Pinging worked in Ubuntu12.04 (3.2.0-61-virtual) works; this problem only appeared in Ubuntu14.04 (kernel: 3.13.0-39-generic ). Is this known issue? Does a solution exist?
