What are the plans for the QinQ patches? Gary

OVS 2.4 is shaping up to be a big release with a number of great new features people are anxious to use. Some of the highlights include: - Native Linux kernel STT support - Geneve tunneling - DPDK vhost and tunneling - OpenFlow 1.4 bundles (flow transactions) - Bash command completion - RSTP - Multicast snooping - Support for Linux kernels up to 4.0.x The plan is to branch early next week and have an official release ready roughly six weeks after that. We originally had planned to release OVS 2.4 when the new connection tracking features were merged into the upstream kernel. Unfortunately, this has taken longer than we anticipated. We feel we are making progress on that front, and once support is added, we will follow it up quickly with another release, which will likely be the next LTS. Finally, on the subject of LTS, we plan to release OVS 2.3.2 next week, which contains a number of bug fixes. Happy switching! --Justin _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://openvswitch.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://openvswitch.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss
