OpenFlow provides an extension message for vendors.
The FAQ indicates that I would have to change some code and add my own.
After this, I would have to rebuild OVS.
Since OVS is used in some white box NOS Systems like Picos I would have
to rebuild the whole OVS for my switch. It would be much smaller
workload if we could supply the extension in form of a dynamically
linkable object so we only would switch out a .so file on the box.
Would it be worth implementing this?
