Can anyone suggest research references on the use of "beacons" (or beacon-like things) in program comprehension? I already have Brooks's original where he defines "beacon", Weidenbeck's Int'l J. of Man-Machine studies 1986 and 1991 papers, and Gellenbeck and Cook from ESP 4.
