It's tougher than you think and it is also a problem fitting it in to
the curriculum. We do a lot of presentation work with our Information
Systems students and it really makes a difference and it is pleasing to
see how people can blossom. However this is very much an integral part
of a particular module that we teach them and fitting that kind of work
into the modules taken by our CS students is difficult - not least of
all because of the nubmers of students involved. They all have to do
presentations (and they all have to make display posters as well now
which is also useful) but never enough to get some of them to be really
easy with it.
