Hi all,
The http://www.restlet.org web site has been updated to run on 1.0 beta
22 yesterday. It contains the fixed Simple HTTP server.
Could someone with access to Safari (a version that used to cause
problem if possible) could test again and let me know if the issue still
occurs?

It also doesn't happen using a recent nightly WebKit (Safari's HTTP/HTML
engine) from http://nightly.webkit.org/, so it looks like the developers
are aware of and have fixed the problem.
