Well, at least update the Javadoc so it specifically says that the  
strings returned are not decoded.

Now, maybe we could add getDecodedPath() and similar methods, but it  
might
crop the class. Any thought?

I think there's a language barrier here.  I don't know what "crop"  
means in this context.
