Hi Leshek, If we had used David Koelle's implementation available under LGPL, it would indeed have been an issue with CDDL. That's why we followed a separate path. I have updated the Javadocs of the Directory class using the terminology of the changes log to make it crystal clear that the implementation was contributed by Rob under public domain. It is therefore compatible with both CDDL and LGPL licensing. I'd like to take this opportunity to state that Noelios Consulting has the copyright on the whole Restlet source code base. We ensure that point by having each contributor sign our JCA (Joint Copyright Assignment). We also incorporate some public domain code (mainly org.restlet.util.XmlWriter). Rob's AlphaNumericComparator class is also available under public domain but as he is a JCA contributor, this point is less important from a Restlet licensing point of view. If anyone has any other legal concern, please speak up! We have been very careful about those aspects since day one, so any concern should be easily addressable. Best regards, Jerome
