Just wanted to post (had talked to Mark offlist about this) that I am
working on an "official" example, but won't be done till later this
month when I get back from travel. Happy to canonize anybody's
practical experience in the meantime ...

I just might be getting the hang of Restlet programming, and
authentication and login-state without that warm, cozy servlet
session state is the last piece I need to envision my app end to end.
