Karel,By any chance did you look at JSecurity as an alternative to Spring Security? Was about to look into integrating one or the other of these with Restlet myself but wondered if other research had been done...
I understand (I think) that Sonatype's Nexus uses Restlet and integrated JSecurity (see <http://blogs.sonatype.com/people/jvanzyl/2008/08/12/nexus-maven-repository-loves-jsecurity/>) but I haven't looked to see if their integration is a general solution.
