This is a very interesting framework, and until fifteen minutes ago I'd 
never heard of the Scala language.

I'm always curious about how Transaction control works with frameworks 
like Lift or Ruby on Rails, or if it's even an issue.  Do three-tiered 
architectures exist anymore?

Having said that, I'd love to see a full web application in Lift!
