Hi Bjorn, Thanks very much for your help. Yes, in the mean time since I posted this message I came to the same conclusion too, however, using plain java objects with REST was really what was attracting me most with Restlet, so if I could find a way to avoid using forms altogether it'd be very nice.
Your last two points: - What the extension for a serialized java object is or how to find the correspondence between mime and extensions. - Why none of the examples seem to need this, but my code does. summarize very well what I need to understand too right now. I feel the tutorials need more explanation on the underlying magic going on there too. If any Restlet expert is reading this, could you give both of us a hint? Thanks :-) ------------------------------------------------------ http://restlet.tigris.org/ds/viewMessage.do?dsForumId=4447&dsMessageId=2701657
