http://wiki.restlet.org/docs_2.0/13-restlet/28-restlet/66-restlet.html In your case, you should put the templates inside the war directory, and can change the way the Contextloader is intantiated in ordert to use the dedicated "war" client connector : configuration = new Configuration(); configuration.setTemplateLoader(new ContextTemplateLoader(getContext(), "war://templates")); In this case, you don't need to declare the war connector.
