Hi John, First of all thanks for trying the extension out! I will try to assist you in any way I can (especially since we are modifying the extension as we speak). First of all, the OAuth2 and OpenId extension were moved from the incubator to trunk when 2.1-M5 was released so I would not use any code you find in the incubator. For working examples I would start to look at the wiki page you pointed to (although I am updating that to reflect some recent changes).
Another good place is to look at the test project that contains various tests of the different OAuth flows. Also, OpenID is now decoupled from OAuth and should not be needed for that extension.
