Hi Thilo,

Yes, in version 2.1, you can set ClientResource#entityBuffering property to
true to cache content in memory and prevent chunked encoding.

Best regards,
Jerome

Objet : Disabling HTTP chunked encoding

Hi again,

I have got yet another question regarding my client-side use of
Restlet: Unfortunately, my server (based on Ruby on Rails) does not like the
"Transfer-Encoding: chunked" [1] that Restlet / HttpClient seem to use by
default. Is there any way to switch off chunked encoding?

Thanks,
Thilo
