Hi, the OpenID extension is currently unusable with the current httpclient 4.1.2.
See https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HTTPCLIENT-1118 and http://code.google.com/p/openid4java/issues/detail?id=162 for details. I just wanted to bring this to you attention, but I don't think there is much to do about it in the Restlet OpenID extension except for using an earlier version of httpclient (4.1.1 seems to work).
