imho: this product can be described as a usb bridge integrated into an
antenna. its 4.5 dbi omni antenna with a max output of 17 dbm in the
802.11g band, which equals only 50 milliwatts, and not so great sensitivity.
it costs $120, for that much you can buy [more powerful AND more
sensitive] separate
wifi card and omni antenna..... or usb bridge and omni antenna.
which is probably why this product is marked 'discontinued.'
