Entered because my MBR Died, with the battery pack I plan on making a mobile "grab and go" AP setup, that will fit in my backpack for school, behind the seat of my truck, and be easily hidden away at events I attend.

with the WAN load balancing I'm thinking of adding in a dd-wrt's board ti use as a clint mode device off of school's wifi,, and others starbucks, allowing a speedier connection if needed, as well as failover.

also, awhile back I asked if anyone had a serial flasher for Fon units, I ended up building my own using a IC from maxim, and used the robin-mesh guide, as each fon had a different firmware, none would ril back or allow the webif page load. it all went well, and I now have 3 open mesh nodes.

I'm keeping my Meraki gear meraki-ized, but other equipment that I pickup will be robin-mesh or dd-wrt compatable (I like GUI's moreso than CLI)

anyhow, that's my adventures for now, I'm back in my second year of school at Fullerton college, and doing computer consulting and odd jobs right now. I liv ein Covina/San Gabriel Valley, LA.
