thought I'd point out one thing that can be a draw back to most Non penetrating roof mount antenna systems, which is they can cause roof rot because they can trap mositure.
in the craigs list ad mentioned, take a look at the photo and note the cinder blocks used to hold down the whole mount, and if ya look carefully you'll notice the blocks are darker at the bottom. The darker color I'm pretty sure is strong evidence of moisture, and the darker color on the block indicates moisture wicking upward. point is, if a penetrating roof mount traps moisture, there exists a much higher probability for roof rot right under the non penetrating roof mount. for future reference if ya need a non penetrating roof mount that avoids the problem trapped moisture, yet can be stable enough to mount multiple antennas for say a WiFi and Sat Dish check out this setup I've been using which is pretty easy to build http://www.phaster.com/golden_hill_free_web/non_penetrating_roof_mount.html > Posting here in case anyone is interested... > > http://sandiego.craigslist.org/esd/bfs/1641149353.html > > I'm not associated with the seller in anyway, just saw it on Craigs list. > > > > > _______________________________________________ > SoCalFreeNet.org General Discussion List > To unsubscribe, please visit: > http://socalfreenet.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss_socalfreenet.org > ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ DISCLAIMER: This is your last chance.
