Howdy, all! Last year, a number of us went down to Ohio Linux Fest[1] in Columbus, OH.
This year, we're planning on doing much the same. If you're interested in learning about Linux and meeting a bunch of really awesome people, you should consider coming along with us :D It happens September 28th through the 30th, which is Friday through Sunday. The sunday is fairly uneventful, but Friday and Saturday are worth the trip. We're getting some carpools and hotel rooms coordinated, so let me know by next tuesday if you're interested. Registration is free, and hotels are pretty cheap in the area if you act now. My car plans on leaving Akron earlyish Friday morning (sometime around 10 am) and heading back to akron Sunday morning.
