Hey everyone! In preparation for Opening Day, I am in the process of writing a press release to announce our new location and the Opening Day festivities. I have realized that I am a terrible writer, especially when it comes to formal writing such as a press release.
If anyone has any experience writing a press release, whether for school, work, whatever, could you please get in touch with me? I plan to release this to all of the major news organizations in the greater Akron area, so I want it to shine when we send it off. Ideally, I would like to release it relatively soon, so that the news organizations have a chance to publish it before everyone is distracted by the holiday rush, and hopefully get a bit more publicity immediately after New Years so people who read it before Christmas do not forget.
