Namaste, hakkers!

I've noticed that there was a meeting on 2013-02-05 and that the minutes are
posted. They are visible on the web at
http://synhak.org/wiki/Meetings/5-2-2013. I've also included them in this mail
for reading at your leisure:

This page was automatically copied from Meetings/Template by
User:Phong. If you would like to change the structure of how meetings
future perform, please make any modifications to Meetings/Template. If you
would like to propose something at the meeting, send it to
[email protected], or bring it up at a meeting.

Instructions
* Read the instructions out loud for all to comprehend if there are new people
present.
* Delete these instructions prior to posting completed minutes
* Pick a moderator and note-taker

Note-taker
* Open a text editor to take down some detailed minutes.
** Detail is important. If it isn't written down, it never happened.
* Project the minutes and notes throughout the meeting
* Follow the instructions in the End of Meeting section at the appropriate time.
* Tell [email protected] and [email protected] if there are new members.
If the treasurer is already present, there is no need to email her.

Moderator
* Make sure everyone gets a chance to speak
* Speak minimally yourself
* Keep the meeting moving
* Handle the membership voting process
* Be sure to thoroughly follow the procedure outlined in this document, as the
template may occasionally change without warning.
** The order of things is also important. We induct new members prior to
proposals, so that they too may have a say in things.

Participants
* Say your name the first time you speak
* Remain on-topic
* Remain respectful of other participants

Agenda
* Note Taker: Xander Golightley
* Moderator: Andrew

Discussion Items
If an item of discussion drags on too long, further discussion may be postponed
until after the meeting ends.

During discussion, it is not necessary to write down exactly what each person
says. Record the topics of discussion, and any items of consensus or
controversy here. Detailed descriptions of the conversation should go on the
discuss page for this meeting.

organizers along the way.
** Minimal rules

*** Don't get hurt/arrested
** Collaborate with Maker's Alliance?

entered the space
** Trever states that having electrical was the reason we agreed to this space
** We got an invoice for about $2200 that he says we should have to pay
*** This bill is not itemized
** Tony says we could have gotten anyone to do the electrical but those who
looked at the space originally remember Tony saying we had to use his
electrical guy
** Tony also says that he doesn't have to put in plumbing either
* Devin says that we need to clarify somethings
** The space is not heated - Will Tony pay for the insulation and labor?
*** Will he pay for labor and/or the insulation itself? We will install the
insulation
** Andy proposes that if we have to pay for electrical and insulation then we
should be able to take it with us when we leave
** Devin has done some research
*** Basic electric has to be provided
*** Heat has to be provided
**** Trever says that the residential rights do not apply to us because we are
a commercial building
** The wall

*** Nothing on the walls, "eh" on the floor
**** Devin is very clear on not liking the "eh" because that IS a quote
** Ventilation?
**Can we put a window in the wall to the hallway?
* Devin will hear back from Tony at the end of this week
** We'll figure out things AFTER that
** Who is responsible for the bathroom?
*** We probably are
** The benches
*** "We can use them but we can't tear them apart"
* Rust in the machine room
** Devin is taking care of it
