Greetings Hackers!

If you haven't already heard, the City of Akron had a data leak due to a
foreign attack. Files with personally identifiable information have been
released, and are available to download. Included in the files are full
legal names, spouses' names, SSNs, spouses' SSNs, and full addresses, along
with some other information that is really only relevant to the city itself
such as tax account numbers and transaction IDs. Another file contains
credit card numbers, and bank account numbers.

If you live or work in the city of Akron, regardless of whether you are
listed in this leak, I *STRONGLY URGE* you to keep an eye on your credit
reports for the next few months. If your name does not appear in the leak,
that does not mean that your data was not compromised. It is possible that
the attackers did not release all of the information they obtained from the
systems.

I have the files at my disposal, and will gladly check anyone's name
against my list. If you wish for me to do so, please privately email me
(don't click reply to this email, it will go publicly to the list) at
[email protected] and tell me your legal name. *For the sake of
security, DO NOT email me Social Security Numbers, bank account numbers,
credit card numbers, etc.* For reference, I have cross-referenced our
members database from Spiff by last name, and found no direct matches.
