I am gaging interest in a solar oven class. Solar ovens are used as ovens, dehydrators, supplemental home heating in the winter months, and can be adapted for supplemental water heating year round. I have build several larger panels with great success. They are cheap (sometimes free) and easy to make. I have been amassing the materials to make small panels (I have enough to make about a dozen 2'x 3' panels) and would like to have a demo/ group build. Chime in if you would like to learn how they work and build one for yourself, or just want to cook food with the power of the sun. I also can have a little demo on other cheap and easy sustainable home ideas. The only requirement would be a few volunteers to help prep everything about a week before the class.
