Hello fellow hackerspaces! This is Xerocraft in Tucson, AZ writing
to you again. You may be thinking, "aren't these the guys who spammed me
a few months ago with their IndieGoGo fundraiser?" Yes, that was us. But
this time is different. We're not spamming you to beg for help with
another IndieGoGo fundraiser. This time we're spamming you to beg for
help with our Kickstarter campaign. Completely different.

This is the
last time, we promise! IndieGoGo was more of a test run for us. We got
our feet wet. We learned the ins and outs of online fundraising. Now the
Kickstarter program is the big one. It's been going amazingly so far.
It's about two-thirds of the way over and we've already passed our goal.
Now we're trying to continue that momentum with stretch goals. Right now
we're shooting for an additional $700 to purchase a compressed air
system for power tools.

If you can help us out, we ask that you please
post our Kickstarter to your social network. Anything helps. If each
recipient could click Like on our Kickstarter post at the top of our
Facebook page or re-tweet our announcements, those small gestures will
combine to great affect. We've noticed that every time we send out an
update across our social network about our fundraising there is a sudden
jump in donations. The Kickstarter lasts until Monday, August 12. A
sustained presence online will propel us well past our intended
goal.

There are lots of ways to help. You can Like, Share or comment on
our post pinned to the top of our Facebook [1] page. You can favorite,
retweet or reply to our Twitter [2] post from July 13th. On our blog,
you can share our announcement post [3] on over 330 social network
services and email using the "+ SHARE" button, located at the top and
bottom of the post.

On our Kickstarter page [4] (the shortlink for
which is http://kck.st/1byylfm [5]) you can share the fundraiser
directly using Facebook or Twitter. You can also embed our pledge video
and live-updating campaign widget on your own website.

And of course,
Xerocraft wants to help you out as well. If you have a fundraiser of
your own in the future that you'd like to have us promote, please don't
hesitate to send us a link. We can also advertise your hacker/makerspace
on our network, follow you on Twitter, Like your Facebook page, etc.
It's the least we can do for your generosity.

Thank you so much,
The
Xerocraft Team
