Heya, folks. Last week when I met with the Akron Public Library people for the Mini Maker Faire, I suggested that we have an open house as a sort of after-party. Monique happened to be thinking along the same lines, so I think we'll end up being a "second half" of the event :)
The Mini Maker Faire runs on Saturday November 2nd from 1p to 4p, with our open house starting at 6p, wrapping up whenever we're done which might be as late as 1a. Things we should start getting together: * Food - Do we want to procure food for the event in terms of pizza, burgers, lots of awesome soup from the Stew Pot? * Music selection - Certainly we've got some people who are aspiring DJs. Who wants to step up and contribute the hardware and/or time for the day? * Decorations - This is something I've been wanting to work on for a long time. The space is a bit drab, and especially our entranceway.
