As far as the OS goes, if we're going to spend the time and/or money on a Windows machine, it should be at least Windows Vista or higher. Microsoft is officially retiring XP as of April 2014, after that it will be in the same bucket as Windows 95, 98, 2000, ME, etc. Members would not benefit from being limited to an old and retired OS to work with. Don't get me wrong, I love Windows XP, but our member's time and money deserve something more modern than a 12 year old OS (which is why I've been looking at socket 775 boards or newer). At least one Windows machine would be good, I'll look into what Dave suggested but I'm not wasting time setting up XP before its retirement.
